| STATEMENT
OF PURPOSE
Jill
creates vessels to use as canvases, which become three dimensional
paintings. After
an initial firing,
bold all over patterns are painted on with bright glaze colors in
may layers in the
final firing gives life to her utilitarian pieces and makes them
durable, everlasting works of
art.

ACHIEVEMENTS
From
1979 to 1996 Jill owned Northfield Pottery Works Studio & Gallery.
In 1996 Jill moved and
re-opened her new studio, Antioch Pottery Works. In addition to
creating her own work
she teaches
pottery and conducts regular workshops and lectures at public schools
and
institutions.
